Preface-Page 3

Centuries ago, people like Galileo handled all three jobs, but the universe grew to be much bigger than we thought, and research uncovered subatomic considerations. With so much new information, we've become suspicious of space, and time has gotten all rubbery. With the work so specialized, we're forced to depend on professionals talking to each other which doesn't always happen. So we're going to put these experts together whether they want to be in the same room or not, and then you can decide who's right.

Since these authors use about three hundred to five hundred pages to arrive at their conclusions, I've humbly condensed each of their ideas into about thirty-five pages and included the name of each referenced book. So if a particular summary doesn't convince you, you'll be able to go to that book for more in-depth coverage. My own ideas, when I have any, appear at the end of each chapter under FINAL THOUGHTS. In those closing sections, you might find a lot of speculation because we can't wait forever for the very latest discovery to come along. Eventually, one has to say, "Go."

This new theory may help you in your own search for truth and also may contribute to saving this planet and the living things on it. NOW do we have your attention?

In closing, I dedicate this book to all those who believe anything is possible. Such an open attitude will get you to the surprise in Appendix E, but don't immediately accept every idea you meet. A better attitude as you read along might be "Anything is possible, but I doubt it." Some fishy sounding science could be just a cap with a promised bunny underneath. Picture a horse pasture. And I'm your uncle.
