Hopefully, you've gotten across our little horse pasture without grabbing for too many bunnies. From here on, we'll only state our conclusions with no uncles hanging around with caps behind their backs.{Well, maybe one more)
For many years, scientists have looked for the Grand Unified Theory. Just for fun, it's been called the Theory of Everything and is meant to cover all things physical. We've also talked about only the physical side of the universe in all the other science chapters.
But now, we are going to present a theory about all things physical and spiritual, so we've dubbed this chapter: The Theory Of More Than Everything (or TTOMTE). What do we mean by "spiritual?" It's the nonphysical, the soul, consciousness, or perhaps self awareness, whatever you want to call it. We want to call it spirit, the mysterious thing we can't quite measure. We experience spirit on the inside, and we think every other living person feels it too. Most people believe the spirit exists somehow disconnected from the physical, so when the body dies, the spirit can live on.
