AND THERE WAS EVENING AND MORNING --- In the Genesis story, the phrases "and there was evening and morning the first day, second day, etc," appear after separate periods of creation. Why not morning and evening? Perhaps the writer was trying to say that, in a snapshot vision of the scene, one sun goes down and another one comes up at the same time, a binary star system. Perhaps we were much closer to Jupiter at that time. That explains why the Romans thought Jupiter was the king of the gods, not the tiny speck we see in the sky now. There's some truth in any mythology. The painting is of the fifth day when there were "winged creatures" and "sea monsters."
ENCOUNTER --- A natural moon in an unnatural position.
GENESIS --- A soul and body coming together linked to the Earth and the moon.
TWO SIDES --- A mirror of the soul on the moon.
CRYSTAL PLANET --- Three prisms, calm in the midst of violence.
SPHINX --- The meaning is unknown.
WARRIOR --- This 15 ton head carved by the Toltecs was found at Vera Cruz, Mexico. The Aztecs built on the ruins of the Toltecs. The tear is not part of the carving.
GREAT WALL OF CHINA ---Emperor Tsin started this wall about 2000 years ago, but much of it was built in the 14th and 16th centuries. It stands twenty to thirty feet high and stretches for 1500 miles across north China. The wall is the only object made by humans visible from outer space. In the picture, part of the wall becomes a castle on a corner of a chess board.
STATUE OF LIBERTY --- Unveiled in 1886, this stands 151 feet high, a gift from the people of France. The statue is made of copper plates over an iron and steel frame, and the torch is glass. The tablet carries the date, July 4, 1776. I don't know why bubbles are floating around.
