As we've emphasized from the beginning, we require certain things from a good theory:
1. Does this theory have only a few assumptions?
We have two: The universe evolves, and the path for evolution follows along the most efficient use of energy.
2. Does this theory fit observations?
We've observed most of the stages.
A. "Nothing" to something causes the galaxies to move apart faster and faster. The blank spot in the universe is a place where evolution took a different path splitting from our local physics.
B. Something to matter gives us our special set of particles and forces. We haven't seen this step in the lab yet but might be part of that billion light-year gap, and cyclotrons may be able to reverse this phase.
C. Matter to form results in quasars, etc, because of the forces of gravity and plasma physics.
D. Form to life steps can be seen in chemical reactions in the laboratory. A complete chain may be found by 2020.
